Re-editing classic Brazilian boogie/disco funk songs has caught the attention of many around the globe, which has catapulted Fatnotronic to perform in some of the biggest and most renowned festivals in Europe, as well as countless of nightclubs.
What's the idea behind the mix? And which is the track you wanted to play the most?
It’s a mix of my own research and some promos that I’ve been receiving during the pandemic and some new remixes.
Which track did you want to play the most and why?
It’s been one year already without gigs... so I want it to play it all tracks i have hahaha.
What tracks have you been digging which are not included in the mix?
I’ve been digging a lot Altin Gun, Kraak & Smaak, Shina Williams and the new things from DEEWEE, Ed Banger, Partyfine, Multi Culti, Codek.
We know that you tour around Europe regularly. What difference do you feel between playing for Brazilian and European crowds?
The main thing is that people in Europe is more open minded and the scene is also more concrete. But both places have good vibes.
Tell us about your upcoming releases. Do you balance your creativity with other disciplines besides music?
There’s been loads of remixes requests during pandemic... like Kraak & Smaak, Nu Azeite, Rita Lee, Little Animal, Gohu mostly of them i did with my friend Emmo..also my radio show is almost one year old..

And also im working in some new music for myself, Phillipi & Rodrigo and 2 new musical projects. Btw im cooking a lot and walking my dog 3 times a day, pandemic life. Hopefully this will end soon and we will be able to celebrate again
